Richmond Vascular Center at the Monument Avenue 10K
April 27, 2026 Richmond Vascular Center
A Day Full of Energy (and a Lot of Smiles)
Richmond Vascular Center was proud to be part of this year’s Monument Avenue 10K, joining the energy as runners, walkers, and spectators filled the streets for one of Richmond’s favorite annual traditions.
Both Dr. Strife and Dr. McLaurin laced up and participated in the race, while our team was on-site all weekend cheering on participants, connecting with the community, and celebrating everyone who showed up.
Meaningful Conversations Along the Course
While the event itself is all about fun and community, it also created space for real conversations.
We had the chance to connect with many women who shared their experiences, asked questions, and in some cases, were hearing about treatment options for the first time. We even met a patient who is just two months out from her UFE and successfully completed the race as well.
Moments like that are a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
A Small Giveaway That Made a Big Impression
Our RVC Monument 10K 2026 stickers ended up being one of the highlights of the day. We loved seeing them pop up all along the course—on water bottles, race bibs, and even a few strollers.
We still have a small batch left, and we’d be happy to share them. If you’d like one, just click the link below and we’ll drop one in the mail for you.

Looking Ahead
RVA runs, and RVC cares. We’re already looking forward to next year’s race and would love to have you join us!
