RVC Connects with the Community at the Virginia Black Expo
October 21, 2026 Richmond Vascular Center
Richmond Vascular Center was proud to participate in the Virginia Black Expo, presented by the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with local businesses, community members and leaders while celebrating Black entrepreneurship and the strength of the Richmond community.
A few highlights from the event included:
Supporting Black-owned businesses: We were proud to celebrate the businesses and entrepreneurs who contribute so much to our local community and economy.
Being present in our community: Providing care extends beyond the walls of our practice. Events like this allow us to build relationships, remain accessible and connect directly with the people we serve.
Connecting health and community: Healthy communities are strong communities. We appreciated the opportunity to discuss health and wellness, including uterine fibroids, which disproportionately affect Black women, and Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), a minimally invasive treatment option.
Spreading awareness: Most importantly, we were able to speak with women about their health and the treatment options available to them. We want every woman to feel informed, ask questions and know that she has options when making decisions about her care.
